由于生意剛起步關係，去年生意都在虧損，因為未獲得公眾人士的認識；今年則比去年好一些，但回酬也並不多，他補充，他們都是通過朋友介紹下，及在網上刊登廣告，維持生意。
 
不過，林吉聰靠著個人的本領，今年于亞沙再也的一間旺角美會茶餐室，售賣伊面、 豆签、 炸面线、鱼丸粉 、角仔面粉糕及燕窝米粉，以壯大營業市場。 早上賣熟食，下午4時後開始製蛋糕，非凡的毅力讓任欽佩不已。他之所以成功，是因為他們找對了平台，發揮專長，創造市場與需求價值。
